The Village of Deonach has decided it is time their community has a police department. Villagers though are not willing to see a major increase in their property taxes. So they will do with their police department exactly what they do with their fire department, make use of volunteers.

Police were called to Chet Pyany last night for noise complete. Mr. Pyany was out on his deck with friends creating an excessive amount of noise after 10pm. Neighbors eventually called police who responded and schooled Chet on the meaning of Memorial Day.
