Police officer Tim Goryachiy has been with the North Las Vegas police for almost eight years now. All of the time he has been working night. That is until this past week when he was forced to cover dayshift.

Police Officer with Bad Sunburn
“I have not seen the sun in years. I mean sure I have to goto court or training on days. But being outside for hours at a time, I have not done that in forever.”
Many of the officers who work day shift have little sympathy for the nasty sunburn.
“We told that kid to put on some sun bock. He came his first shift looking pale to the point of bing pasty skinned. He would not listen to us. Told us how he never burns. Yeah that was years ago, back before becoming a nightwalker.”
Officer Goryachiy’s girl friend said this about the burn. “I would not be so bad except the burn is mostly on his left arm and left side of his face. He spends all his time in that squad car with his arm out the window and the sun on only directly hitting one side of his face.”
His girl friend had also made a comment about putting on sunblock. She even went so far as to put a bottle in his bag before he left for work.
“I know I messed up. The guys at work all warned me. My girl friend warmed me. Even my mom said something about suntan lotion when I told her I was going to be on days. If I ever pull days again I will be more carful”.
